I’m not a conservative in the slightest, but I can understand your disagreement with my point.

I’m concerned about the politicization of the court and would prefer that it remained a neutral arbitrator of the law, perhaps I should have been clearer about who I was blaming for this, I think both sides have responsibility. However, there does seem to be a theme with social issues of progressive courts taking on legislative powers which are outside of their remit.

The history of women being told to concentrate on only ‘women’s issues’ is a long one and goes back to the suffrage movement, however, I think there is a continuing bias in the kinds of political ads that are targeted at women, at the weaponization of the abortion issue as the only issue women are supposed to vote on, and indeed the generalized discourse which female politicians seem to have to take, ie depicting themselves as carers and nurturers.
